Rakau Hops:

The Rakau hops, formerly known as AlphAroma in the 80s, is a dual-purpose hop variety originating from New Zealand. It was re-released and named Rakau by the Hort Research institute in 2007.

The Rakau hops can be used in all hop additions throughout the brewing process. It brings specific aromas of stone fruit and figs; fresh orchard fruits, specifically apricot with some resinous characteristics of pine needles are noted.

It is often used for American-style beers, such as IPAs, Pale Ales, and Lagers.
