Cascade Cryo Yakima Chief Hops:

Cascade hops have become one of the most popular American hops of all time.

They are well-suited to almost all Ales and Lagers, but their use is particularly common in American Pale Ales.

This hop variety was developed by Oregon State University (USA) in 1956 from the Fuggles and Serebrianker varieties. It gives beer a typically American taste along with citrus and fruit aromas.

This Cryo version, stripped of most of its vegetal matter, allows you to use half as much hops for the same result. This reduces liquid absorption and thus beer loss in the final product.

These unique flavors are due to a high level of essential oils. Very floral and spicy, with notes of lemon and grapefruit, it provides a very mild bitterness even when used in large quantities.
