Description
The BrewBuilt™ X3 Uni 144L is the result of thousands of hours of research, reflection, and development.
The features of a standard fermenter were not enough for the manufacturer, so BrewBuilt™ pushed the limits to create a high-quality conical unitank.
The final result is a pressurizable stainless steel unit specifically designed to optimize your fermentation process and improve the quality of your finished beer, while offering an exceptional visual aspect.
Its size is ideal for Brewpubs, small batch brews, and test beers.
One of its main strengths lies in its mirror polish (exterior, but especially interior) which prevents any adherence to the surface. Krausen and yeast residues fall into the collection vessel, allowing for ultra-clean beer service and unmatched ease of cleaning for this type of equipment.
Advantages of the BrewBuilt X3 Uni 144L:
- The BrewBuilt X3 Uni 144L comes with a "pressure pack lid" of 4". This lid, equipped with a floating dip tube (ideal for serving under pressure), is fitted with a 15 psi safety valve, 2 Ball Lock ports, and an additional 1.5" TC port for installing a Hop Bong.
- Its Clear Flex Chamber Collection Jar system allows you to visualize fermentation, collect and remove trub, with additional ports for purging, oxygenating, carbonating, and much more...
- The internal welds are ground and polished, with no rough edges, ensuring optimal hygiene.
- Its double-wall construction (with 2 1.5" TC ports) allows for the installation of a Glycol cooling system (like the Icemaster G20).
- A rear 2" TC port is provided to integrate an immersion heating system (not included).
It also allows for pressurization or forced carbonation up to 14 PSI / 0.96 bar.

New Features:
- A professional 8" Tri-Clamp lid replaces the traditional “Band Clamp” used on classic conical fermenters. (Ensures easy closing and fully secure pressurization.)
- Four reinforced legs with flared crossbars create an extremely stable base and offer better access to the front fittings and the drain system. (Additionally, you can install casters if needed.)
- 3 horizontal ports on the conical section allow you to position your racking arm, carbonation stone, or thermowell horizontally inside your BrewBuilt X3.
- An oversized 3" bottom port with a butterfly valve and a Flex Chamber TC 3" collection jar.
The new BrewBuilt X3 Uni sets new standards of quality.
Fully engineered from 304 stainless steel, with flawless welds and a dazzling mirror finish inside and out, the BrewBuilt X3 Uni 144L is easy to sanitize and even more pleasant to look at. Perfect for decorating your brewpub.
Double-wall “External Cooling Jacket”:
When it comes to temperature control, the double wall (“External Cooling Jacket”) has always been the ideal solution.
Internal cooling coils have been used for a long time. Although they are simpler to manufacture and relatively inexpensive, they are harder to clean and struggle with rapid cooling in warm environments. The BrewBuilt X3 Uni offers maximum cooling power without compromising hygiene.
The two 1.5" TC ports located at the back of the fermenter allow installation of glycol chillers such as the Icemaster G20.
Oversized 3" TC dump valve
The largest of its kind for this type of fermenter. Even if you attempt the biggest Dry Hop possible, you won’t clog this opening.
Thanks to this oversized 3" bottom port, you have all the space needed to easily evacuate your dry hop additions. The mirror-polished interior finish allows flocculating yeast to gather cleanly at the bottom of the cone, sliding along perfectly smooth walls.
The butterfly dump valve integrates perfectly with the Flex Chamber collection jar.
Four-leg stability reinforcement:
A common issue with three-legged units is their instability. While they may suffice when the fermenter is stationary on a flat surface, users often need to purchase a reinforcement shelf, especially if they add casters or leg extensions.
To solve this problem, BrewBuilt designed the X3 inspired by the best brewery fermenters, resting on a reinforced four-leg base. This design makes the X3 fermenter extremely stable compared to other models.
This reinforced four-leg system is as solid as a rock. This is essential if you plan to add casters to easily move the fermenter around your brewery.
With improved stability, this design also gives the BrewBuilt X3 additional height, eliminating the need for extensions in almost all situations. An elbow, sight glass, or the Flex Chamber can be installed under the unit with all the necessary clearance.
Adjustable legs:
The BrewBuilt X3 Uni 144L is equipped with reinforced adjustable screw legs. If your brewery floor is uneven (especially sloped), you can quickly and easily level the fermenter. The legs can be replaced at any time with high‑quality casters.
Flex Chamber Collection Jar – Trub separator and yeast harvester
In collaboration with KegLand, BrewBuilt designed the pressurizable Flex Chamber Collection Jar. It attaches directly to the butterfly valve and can be used to remove hop residues or harvest yeast, for example.
Made from crystal‑clear Triton, you can visually monitor fermentation activity just like with a sight glass. Ball Lock adapters can be attached to the threaded ports on each side, allowing you to connect oxygenation or carbonation stones, purge the Flex Chamber with CO₂, or use it to inject hops or other ingredients.
“Pressure Pack” lid with Clear Float technology
Thanks to its pressurization capacity of up to 14 psi, the BrewBuilt X3 Uni 144L allows you to ferment, carbonate, and even serve your beer directly.
The Pressure Pack lid features the unique Clear Float Technology racking tube, which can be used to take samples, transfer to a keg, or serve finished beer. This innovative feature draws beer from the top, meaning you always get the clearest beer possible.
Using pressure to take a sample from the floating dip tube also eliminates the small amount of oxygen that would otherwise enter your beer under classic fermentation conditions.
Pressure transfer from fermenter to keg is the best way to protect your beer from oxygen when it is at its most vulnerable. Kegging can be considered the ultimate (and most perilous) step of the brewing process. Here, limiting oxygen exposure is crucial. It can make the difference between a beer that stays excellent for months and a beer that oxidizes in a few days. Don’t take risks. Use the Pressure Pack to keg from top to bottom and leave sediment behind.
Other features you’ll love:
- The downward‑facing U‑shaped Blow Off nozzle prevents the silicone hose from kinking, making it much easier to remove and clean compared to a fixed stainless steel Blow Off.
- Three‑piece 8" stainless Tri‑Clamp and one‑piece molded gasket.
- For the X3 144L model, BrewBuilt added two additional 1.5" TC ports to the cone and body, offering greater flexibility with current and future accessories.
