Blond malt extract powder
Blond powdered malt extract is obtained from a base malt. It saves time, as the starch has already been converted into sugar. Simply mix with water, boil and add hops. This method, called "mini-mash", is commonly used by American brewers.
This extract is equivalent to 100% Pils or Pale Ale malt, and can be used for SMASH-type recipes. It is also ideal for yeast starters.
