Black malt extract powder is made from base malts, including very dark malts. Its use gives beer a deep, almost coffee-like malt flavor, ideal for brown beer styles.

Use

• Although it can be used at 100%, we recommend incorporating a small percentage of special malts, such as roasted grains, to create superb stouts.

Benefits

• Time-saving : With this type of packaging, the starch is already converted into sugar. Simply mix it with your volume of water, bring to the boil and add your hops.

Equivalence

• 1 kg of powdered malt extract is equivalent to 1.6 kg of traditional malt.
