Motueka Hops:

The Motueka hops are an aromatic hop variety originating from New Zealand. They were developed in 1996 by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research. They are the result of a cross between the Saaz hops and an unidentified New Zealand breeding strain.

The Motueka hops provide a moderate bitterness and fruity, citrusy, floral and slightly spicy aromas. Used in Dry Hop, they will mainly bring delicate notes of lime and exotic fruits.

They are often used for beers of the Pilsner, Pale Ale, Lager, White Ale and IPA styles. They can also suit beers of the Saison, Blonde and Triple styles.
