The GMD digital carbonation tester is a high‑precision device designed to measure the CO₂ content of carbonated beverages in cylindroconical tanks, conditioning tanks or kegs. It provides automatic results in g/L and volumes, ideal for breweries performing regular carbonation checks.
The GMD connects to the sampling tap. Flow can be adjusted using the screw valve to avoid foam formation. Once the chamber is filled, the operator follows the software instructions: pressure release, piston activation, then measurement start. The piston system releases CO₂ quickly and reproducibly.
The device then measures partial pressure and temperature, and automatically calculates CO₂ concentration. It features internal memory capable of storing up to 400 measurements. On request, it can be equipped with a color touchscreen for improved ergonomics.
With more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, the GMD is a reliable, calibratable and repairable device, suitable for demanding environments, including ISO 9001/9002 certified companies.
