Benchy Carbon - Double Tap Dispenser

The Benchy Carbon is the world's first dispenser equipped with a portable inline chiller. Thanks to its ability to operate on a 12 to 24 V DC power supply, it can chill draft beer even in off-grid conditions.

The Benchy Carbon is extremely energy efficient. It consumes 60 watts when the compressor is running and only 1.6 watts in idle mode. When maintaining the temperature, the average power consumption is around 15 watts.

Unlike glycol-based chillers that contain liquids, the Benchy Carbon uses a solid carbon thermal sink. This eliminates the risk of spills and makes transportation more practical. This technology provides a compact, reliable thermal mass that is highly conductive and perfectly suited for portable use.

With a cooling capacity of 150 watts, the Benchy Carbon can chill approximately 8 liters of beer per hour at an ambient temperature of 20 °C. It is recommended to allow 2 minutes of recovery time after every 500 ml dispensed. For higher volumes, the Benchy Glycol is recommended.

The Benchy Carbon uses r600a refrigerant, which reduces pressure in the compression system, consumes less energy, and is lighter.

Finally, unlike larger glycol chillers, the Benchy Carbon requires only 15 minutes to become operational, allowing you to turn it off when not in use to save even more energy.
