FermZilla - Plastic Pressure Kit

Add this optional pressure kit to your 27L or 55L FermZilla and turn your fermenter into a true uni-tank. Uni-tanks are conical fermenters used for fermentation, carbonation, and serving finished beer. This extremely affordable upgrade will truly show you what the FermZilla was designed for.

The kit includes :

• 1 x Red Plastic Carbonation Cap (KL10788 Red)

• 1 x Yellow Plastic Carbonation Cap (KL10788-Yellow)

• 1 x FermZilla Stainless Steel Float and 100cm Silicone Dip Tube with Filter (KL17060)

The included red and yellow carbonation caps allow you to differentiate the yellow cap, used for dispensing/transferring your beer, from the red cap, used for gas input.

Usage :

• Fermentation under pressure: This reduces the production of esters and fusel alcohols, allowing fermentation at higher temperatures than usual, or even brewing lagers at room temperature. The lid has an integrated relief valve that opens at 35 psi.

• Carbonation, transfer, and serving: By fermenting under pressure, the beer is already carbonated at the end of fermentation. You can control the carbonation level using an adjustable relief valve. The FermZilla can eliminate the need for kegging and allow direct serving from the fermenter.

• Reduction of oxidation: The beer always has a CO2 blanket during fermentation and any transfers, eliminating oxidation.
