100L BrewZilla Gen 4 - Plat échangeur de chaleur (HED)

This accessory is an upgrade compatible only with the BrewZilla Gen 4 100 L.

The plate has been pressed into a slightly concave shape to match the curvature of the 100 L boiler's false bottom. It comes with a longer eye bolt and a wing nut.

The assembly order is as follows: Eye bolt → washer → false bottom → washer → nut → HED → wing nut.

This prevents the eye bolt from being completely removed when cleaning underneath the heat exchanger dish.

Function:

Thanks to its concave shape and central drain hole, the wort recirculated by the pump flows through the malt pipe and then down through the false bottom. Normally, the wort would follow the path of least resistance straight to the drain hole.

This exchanger forces the wort to circulate toward the edges of the kettle, passing over the heating elements for a longer time, which speeds up heat exchange and helps reach target temperatures faster during brewing.
