Description
The Red Reaper counterflow chiller is the latest homebrewing chiller model available on the market.
It uses a PEX hose crimped/welded to the copper wort tube. This not only provides a superior connection method compared to a simple clamp, but also ensures that the mains water used to cool your wort will never reach a pressure high enough to damage the PEX.
We paired the 4 outlets of this chiller with a duotight ball valve for full flow control. For optimal ease of use, we also equipped the wort inlet and outlet with male A camlock fittings, and the water inlet and outlet with garden hose connectors. This makes it very easy to connect the chiller to your brewing vessel and to Gardena‑compatible quick connectors.
Its hooks fit perfectly on Brewzilla kettles, regardless of the volume.

We recommend recirculating your wort during the last 15 minutes of the boil to sanitize the chiller. Post‑use cleaning can be done with Stellar Clean.
This chiller uses a type of tubing extremely resistant to pressure and temperature, widely used as a replacement for copper in the plumbing industry, partly thanks to its flexibility and ease of manufacturing.
The Red Reaper A‑PEX CFC is a true cooling beast, with an internal copper tube through which your wort flows and cools. You benefit from excellent heat transfer thanks to the copper and the cold water flowing in the opposite direction.

PEX tubing, short for cross‑linked polyethylene, is a flexible plastic pipe used as an alternative to traditional copper or steel plumbing pipes.
