Description
The Red Reaper Counterflow Chiller is the latest homebrewing chiller available on the market.
It uses a PEX tube swaged/soldered to the copper wort pipe. This not only provides a superior connection method compared to a clamp, but also ensures that the mains water used to chill your wort will never reach a pressure high enough to damage the PEX.
Combined with the duotight 9.5 mm range (or John Guest 3/8"), you can connect your hoses or camlock (A) fittings or a garden hose connector within seconds.
Its hooks fit perfectly on Brewzilla kettles, regardless of volume.

We recommend recirculating your wort during the last 15 minutes of the boil to sanitise the chiller. Post-use cleaning can be done with Stellar Clean.
This chiller uses a type of tubing extremely resistant to pressure and temperature, widely used instead of copper in the plumbing industry, partly due to its flexibility and ease of manufacturing.
The Red Reaper A‑PEX CFC is a true cooling beast, with an internal copper tube where your wort circulates and cools down. You benefit from significant heat transfer thanks to the copper and the cold water flowing in the opposite direction.
What is PEX?
PEX tubing, short for cross-linked polyethylene, is a flexible plastic pipe used as an alternative to traditional copper or steel pipes in plumbing.
Example of compatible setup with the chiller:
Plug a 3/8" flat female union into the inlet and outlet ports of the chiller. Screw into the female fitting (BSP 1/2" side) a 1/2" male garden hose quick connector. Then simply connect a hose with a Gardena fitting.
