Chemsan 5L

Instructions for use:

Dosage: Mix 10 ml of Chemsan in 5 liters of water for a 0.2% dilution. Higher concentrations require thorough rinsing. All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed before using Chemsan. The product should remain in contact with surfaces for at least 2 minutes. The solution’s pH must be 3.5 or lower to ensure optimal effectiveness. Chemsan may become cloudy when diluted with hard water but remains effective as long as the pH is 3.5 or below.

Clean all dirty surfaces with a suitable cleaner such as Chemclean, then rinse well before using Chemsan. Apply diluted Chemsan to surfaces using a cloth, mop, brush, sponge, spray, or by immersion. Ensure surfaces stay wet for at least two minutes, then allow to air dry. No rinsing is necessary after using Chemsan unless a higher concentration was used. Due to its acidic nature, the product is not recommended on soft metals.

Chemsan – UN3264 DANGER – Contains phosphoric acid. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. PRECAUTIONS – Harmful if swallowed. Corrosive to skin and eyes. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Wear safety goggles and protective clothing during use. Avoid contamination of food.

DO NOT MIX CHEMSAN WITH CHLORINE CLEANERS AS CHLORINE GAS WILL BE RELEASED.

Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Refer to the label for further safety information.

In case of eye contact: Keep eyes open and rinse cautiously with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes. Continue rinsing. Seek immediate medical attention.

In case of ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention. If the person is able to swallow, give a glass of water. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by a doctor or poison control center. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.

In case of contact with skin or clothing: Remove contaminated clothing. Immediately rinse skin with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. Seek medical attention if necessary.

In case of inhalation: Move the person to fresh air. If not breathing, call an ambulance and give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Seek immediate medical attention.
