Acidic and single-dose detergent for the maintenance of beer taps, water (or ice) dispensers, and coffee machines.

This very powerful product is ideal for intense cleaning and (especially) descaling your distribution lines. Easy to use, the powder will dissolve without problems, even in cold water.

Désanacid is an "intelligent" detergent that will indicate the level of cleaning based on its color. (Purple = clean; Yellow or green = let it act longer).

Made with active oxygen, this product is guaranteed to be chlorine-free, odorless, and meets the DIN6650 standard (HACCP compliant).

We recommend its use if you are unsure about the hygiene of the beer tap you rented/borrowed or if you need to descale your lines.

Instructions for use of Desanacid:

We recommend wearing gloves when handling the product.

Dosage: 1 sachet of 45g for 4.5L of water.

Step 1: Pre-rinse

Before starting the cleaning process, thoroughly rinse your system: cleaning keg (sodakeg, special keg or oxebar), line, taps...

Step 2: Dissolve Desanacid and take a sample

Pour the sachet of Desanacid into your cleaning keg and fill it with 4.5L of warm water (ideally at 35°C). The filling jet should be sufficient to dissolve the detergent. If necessary, you can double the dose of Desanacid and water.

Close the keg and shake it vigorously 3 times. Then, take a small sample of the solution, which should be pink. This will serve as a color reference to indicate whether the cleaning is complete or if it needs to be prolonged.

Step 3: Fill the line

Clean and rinse your dispensing head (or the connectors you use to connect the keg to the tap) in advance. Connect your cleaning keg to the CO2 and the tap system, turn it on, and open the taps.

Once the cleaning solution comes out of the tap, close it and let Desanacid act for 20 minutes.

The liquid will be yellow if your line is very dirty or green if it is slightly dirty.

Step 4: Disinfect the dispensing head or connectors

While Desanacid is working in the lines, disconnect your CO2, depressurize the cleaning keg, and open it. Immerse your dispensing head or connectors in the solution and wait for 20 minutes.

Step 5: Open the tap and check the color of the solution

Reconnect the cleaning keg to the dispensing head and CO2. Open the tap to let the solution flow. If it turns or remains green, then close the tap and let it act for another 3 minutes.

Repeat the operation until the solution turns purple (like your reference sample).

Once done, let Desanacid flow until the keg is empty.

Step 6: Rinsing

Disconnect your cleaning keg and rinse it thoroughly. To ensure it is well rinsed, you can do a pH test with a strip. The pH should be equal to that of tap water.

Once the keg is rinsed, fill it and reconnect it to the tap system.

Open the tap and let it flow until the keg is empty. For the last few centiliters, you can do a pH test to verify that the water coming out of your line has a pH equal to that of tap water.
