What calibration modes does pH2Go support?

pH2Go supports 1, 2, 3, and 5 point calibration with ATC. You can calibrate using Anton Paar, DIN, NIST, JIS, or custom buffer sets which can be added.

How to clean the pH sample well?

Simply rinse the sample well with water and wipe with a soft cloth. For greasy/sticky samples: first rinse with mild dish soap, then rinse with water.

Can I keep the sample well dry between uses?

Yes, you can leave the sample well dry for up to 2 days. If you want to store it for more than a week, add about 0.2 mL of pH 7 buffer to the well and put on the protective cap to keep the diaphragm hydrated. Before the next measurement, rinse with water and dry.

Does pH2Go automatically correct measurements?

Yes. Its tolerance ranges from 0°C to 80°C. Anton Paar recommends measuring liquids close to ambient temperature. If this is not the case, the pH meter will simply take a little longer to perform the correction. But with a sample as small as 0.5ml, the temperature equilibrates very quickly.

Can I measure the pH of a carbonated liquid?

Short answer: no. But…

It will be very easy to degas a 0.5ml sample. If you want to take the pH of your carbonated beer, you just need to stir your sample for a few seconds before taking the measurement.
