Nukatap counter pressure filler

Ultra-practical mini filler

The Nukatap filler has been designed to facilitate counter-pressure bottling. It has all the advantages of a conventional filler, but is much smaller, practical and easy to use. It's also much easier to clean.

Operation is based on the same principle. On one side you connect the gas, on the other the beer. Simply place the NukaTap cap on the neck of the bottle, positioning the telescopic rod 2/3cm from the bottom. 

Purge and pressurize the bottle with the appropriate button. Fill with beer, regulating the flow with the knob, and you're done!

Versatility of the Nukatap filler

The Nukatap filler isn't just the pocket version of its big sister. It comes with several fittings for different uses. It includes duotight ball lock fittings for easy connection to a pressurizable fermenter. If you're equipped with a filler and/or your fermenter's tap is from Nukatap, a connector is supplied to enable the filler to connect directly to the tap, for ultra-simple, fast and efficient filling. 

For conventional use, the filler is equipped with 5/16" fittings. You'll need to add a fitting with a valve to control the beer supply (on/off). Not supplied.

What we recommend

Many pressure fermentation (and backpressure bottling) lines and systems are 3/8". In fact, the only compatible valve fitting we sell is 3/8". We therefore recommend that you standardize on 3/8" and purchase 2 John Guest 3/8" to BSP 1/4 straight ends, a few cm of 3/8" hose and a John Guest Stopcock. This is obviously optional, but we think it will make your bottling easier. The following image shows the result of this modification.

Another optional optimization is to reinforce the spring of the drain valve. If you have a ball lock fitting you no longer use, you can use its spring to replace that of the Nukatap. It's a minor optimization, but the spring is stronger.

Finally, the manufacturer advises you not to exceed 15 PSI thrust.
