Threaded BSP Coil 1/2″ x 75mm
The BSP threaded coil is used as a connector between hardware components with a 1/2″ BSP female fitting.
It can also be used as a cable gland to pass through a wall with nuts / Stainless steel locknut 1/2".
This product is perfect for connecting any hardware part with a 1/2" BSP female fitting.
Technique for installing a tap on a tank:
You will need to drill the tank wall to the diameter of this coil. Then fix it with two suitable nuts and place two seals (one for each nut) for sealing. You can then attach the 1/2" valve to the coil on the outside, using Teflon tape to prevent leaks. You can also use just one nut on the inside and rely on the valve on the outside to act as a nut.
