Description
Bulkhead fitting for 1/2" tap
This NPT threaded nipple is used as a connector between hardware components with a 1/2″ female NPT fitting.
It can also be used as a bulkhead fitting to pass through a wall using stainless steel nuts / locknuts 1/2".
This product is perfect for connecting any hardware part with a 1/2" female NPT fitting.

How to install a tap on a vessel:
You will need to drill a hole in the vessel wall to match the diameter of the nipple. Then secure it with two appropriate nuts and place two seals (one for each nut) to ensure a tight seal. You can then attach the 1/2" valve to the nipple on the outside, making sure to use Teflon tape to prevent any leaks.
Note: you can also use only one nut on the inside of the vessel and rely on the valve on the outside to act as the second nut.
