About this kit version:

The Brewtools FCS One Starter Kit is the “light” version of the FCS system. It is designed to offer a simple, compact and accessible installation while retaining the essential features for controlling fermentation temperature and pressure.

Unlike the higher-end version equipped with the FCS Display Module 5″ and the dedicated I/O module, this version is based on the FCS One, a more compact and straightforward controller, ideal for minimalist setups or tanks with limited accessory space.

Like the advanced version, it enables electronic control of the spunding valve as well as fermentation temperature.

Main differences compared to the higher version:

• - Simpler interface: FCS One (all‑in‑one) instead of the 5″ FCS Display Module (more measurements but requires the FCS I/O module)
• - More compact installation and less cabling (FCS One = 2 CAN ports + 2 DC 24V ports VS 4 CAN ports + 4 DC 24V ports for the 5″ FCS Display Module)
• - Ideal for tanks with limited automation needs

How it works:

The sensors installed on your Unitank measure temperature and pressure.

The data is sent to the FCS One controller, which displays the values in real time and automatically controls the solenoid valve to maintain the desired pressure.

The system can also manage cooling via a solenoid valve or pump (not included) to stabilize fermentation temperature.
