Aramis hops add peppery, lemony flavors and a hint of herbaceousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rolling-beers.fr\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ajouter-un-titre-17.png\" alt=\"French blond ale recipe\" class=\"wp-image-8205\" style=\"width:708px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rolling-beers.fr\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ajouter-un-titre-17.png 500w, https:\/\/www.rolling-beers.fr\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ajouter-un-titre-17-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rolling-beers.fr\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ajouter-un-titre-17-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.rolling-beers.fr\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ajouter-un-titre-17-400x400.png 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-1 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rolling-beers.fr\/en\/all-the-20l-kits-\/5385-mousquetaire-french-blond-ale-kit.html\" style=\"border-radius:0px;background-color:#6aa4c6\">Buy <em>Mousquetaire <\/em>Kit<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brew our French Blond Ale beer step by step<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1 <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat 17 liters of water to 72\u00b0C and pour in the crushed grains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stir well to avoid lumps, and bring the temperature down to 65\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hold for one hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, heat 16 liters of rinse water to 77\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the saccharification hour is over, move on to filtration and rinsing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Then heat your wort to boiling for 60 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Infuse 15g of Aramis hops as soon as the timer starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&rsquo;re using a cooling coil, don&rsquo;t forget to sterilize it in the wort 15 minutes before the end of the boil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 5 minutes to go, add the remaining 85g of hops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cool the wort to 18\u00b0C and transfer to the fermenter, not forgetting the yeast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your initial specific gravity should be around 1.050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To control phenolic production during fermentation, start at 18\u00b0C and gradually increase to 21\u00b0C over the course of a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leave at this temperature for the next 5 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be sure you&rsquo;ve completed fermentation, raise the temperature to 24\/25\u00b0C for the last 4 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Final density with this type of yeast should be around 1.001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5 <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 6 to 7g per L of sugar at bottling. To accentuate the thirst-quenching effect, this type of beer needs to be well carbonated.
