WLP077 Tropical Blend

This blend of non-GMO yeast strains has been meticulously selected to promote the release of “bound thiols” compounds by targeting high B-lyase enzymatic activity. It offers a balance of tropical flavors and aromas, such as passion fruit, grapefruit, and mango. This yeast is clearly tailored for Juicy & Hazy IPA and DIPA.

• Attenuation rate: 75-82%
• Flocculation: Low
• Alcohol tolerance: 12%
• Recommended temperature: 17-23°C

Yeast ready to use. A starter is still recommended if you use it two months after the manufacturing date (written on the package).

Substitutes:

Being a blend, WLP077 is unique and difficult to replace. That said, the Pomona (Lallemand) and Pineapple Passion (WHC) strains will present fairly similar biotransformation profiles.
