Originating from Cologne, Germany, this yeast is ideal for Kölsch and Alt style beers.
Particularly suitable for light beers.
The slight sulfur production during fermentation disappears over time, leaving a very clean ale, similar to a lager.
Characteristics:
- Fermentation degree: 72-78%
- Flocculation: Medium
- Fermentation temperature: 18°-21°C
Ready-to-use yeast. A starter is still recommended if you use it two months after the manufacturing date (written on the package).
