Weyermann® light wheat malt

Weyermann® light wheat malt is an indispensable ally for all your wheat beers: Hefeweizen, witbier, wheat ale... In addition to a creamy texture, this malt brings notes of bread, nuts, cookie, honey toffee and a subtle touch of vanilla.

Its high conversion rate means that a high percentage can be used without filtration problems, as the most adventurous among you will be able to use up to 80% of a recipe. Its degree of boiling and its proteins will add a pretty pale blond color and a little cloudiness to your beer.

Light wheat malt, highly fermentable, is very versatile. Its protein content also plays an important role in foam retention. In small percentages, it will be a superb asset to the appearance of your beers.
