Carafa® II malt

More full-bodied and coffee-flavored than Carafa® special I, it will bring a beautiful opaque black color and marked roastiness to your beer.

It is ideal for dark beers where a balanced to strong roasted character is desired. It can also be combined with other dark malts to balance cocoa and coffee flavors.

Preferred beer styles :

• Porter
• Stout
• Cascadian dark ale
• Baltic Porter

Recommended use :
up to 5% alcohol
