Threaded NPT Coil 1/2″ x 2.5″ (6.35cm)

The NPT threaded coil is used as a connector between hardware components with a 1/2″ NPT female fitting.

It can also be used as a cable gland to pass through a wall using nuts / Stainless steel locknut 1/2"

This product is perfect for connecting any hardware part with a 1/2" NPT female fitting.

Technique for installing a tap on a tank :

You will need to drill the tank wall to the diameter of this coil. Then, fix it with two suitable nuts and place two seals (one for each nut) to ensure watertightness. You can then attach the 1/2" valve to the coil on the outside, using Teflon tape to prevent any risk of leakage.
Note that you can also use a single nut on the inside of the tank and rely solely on the valve on the outside, which will also act as a nut.
