Characteristics :
Produced from quality spring barley. High degree of modification of both proteins and starches. Excellent friability. Low beta-glucan values. Very acidic. Very aromatic malt. Adds a deep amber to reddish-brown color, body and mellowness to the finished beer. Promotes flavor stability. Taste: intense malt aroma; notes of honey, nuts and chocolate.
