This complete all-grain kit, designed by Rolling Beers experts, allows you to brew 8 liters of traditional Weissbier (5.2% ABV). With its typical wheat notes and unique aromatic profile, it is the perfect set for lovers of hazy, refreshing, and authentic beers.

The art of Wheat Beer brewing made easy The German Wheat 8L Kit introduces you to the specificities of wheat beers (Wheat malt). You will perform all the brewer's steps: mashing, lautering, and boiling, to achieve a straw-colored beer with a generous head.

Beer Profile:

  • Style: Weissbier (German Wheat Beer).

  • Volume: 8 Liters (approx. 24 x 33cl bottles).

  • Alcohol: approx. 5.2% ABV.

  • Content: 12L fermentation bucket (tap and airlock), thermometer, bottle brush, Oxybrew cleaner, 24 caps, malt mix (wheat and barley), hops, and specific yeast.

What you will need to provide:

To brew this kit, you will need an 8-10L pot, a large kitchen strainer, and your empty bottles (not included).

Ingredient Storage:

Malt and hops are fresh products. To ensure optimal brewing quality, store your malt mix in a dry place away from light, and your hops preferably in the refrigerator if you do not brew immediately upon receipt.

Expert Tips:

Fermentation Temperature: This is the secret of German Weissbier! Fermenting around 20°C (68°F) will favor banana notes. If you stay lower (18°C / 64°F), clove notes will be more prominent.

The Pour: Do not pour the whole bottle at once. Leave a little at the bottom, swirl it to get the yeast back in suspension, and pour the rest to get that sought-after "Hefe" haze.

Flash FAQ:

  • Is it a very bitter beer? No, Weissbier is focused on malt and yeast; the bitterness is very subtle.

  • Can I reuse the bucket? Yes, all equipment is durable. Simply purchase a "German Wheat 8L Ingredients Refill" to brew again.
