Spunding Valve APRV with Ball Lock

With the integrated manometer of the APRV spunding valve (or pressure relief valve), control and adjust the pressure of your barrels, soda keg, and pressurizable fermenters.

The integrated manometer of the APRV spunding valve allows a reading from 0 to 4 bar (+58PSI). This provides a wide range of possibilities for well-conducted pressure fermentation.

The plus of this pressure relief valve is that it is directly mounted on a gas Ball lock connector, so it can be directly clipped onto a soda keg or fermenter, without any additional assembly or any kind of DIY.

How does the APRV Spunding Valve work?

This spunding valve is very easy to use! There is no particular assembly. All the pressurizable fermenters and soda kegs that we sell are equipped with Ball lock fittings. This means that, whatever your pressure fermentation equipment, you will simply have to clip this valve.

After installing the APRV on the fermenter, fully open the knob located at the end of the valve. The gas will start to escape. Gradually decrease the opening of the valve until the needle of the manometer indicates the desired pressure and you no longer hear the sound of the escaping gas (without fully closing the valve).

Ensure regularly that the pressure remains at the level you have defined, otherwise, it will be necessary to readjust the manometer. Don’t worry, it is normal to have to make several attempts before finding the right setting.
