This low-energy Bluetooth thermometer is compatible with BrewZillas Gen 4, RAPT temperature controllers and RAPT fermentation chambers. It will not work without one or more of the devices listed above.

By receiving multiple thermometer sensors, the BrewZilla can make smarter, more automated decisions about how to control the brewing or distilling process. For example, a thermometer can be placed in the cooling water to trigger an alarm if the temperature is too high, a thermometer can be placed in the middle of the malt pipe to more precisely control the switching on and off of the elements in order to obtain a central temperature of the malt pipe, etc.

RAPT connectivity

The Bluetooth thermometer can connect to your BrewZilla Gen 4, RAPT temperature controller and RAPT fermentation chamber to record temperature data and manipulate fermentation, brewing or distillation profiles in the RAPT portal (https://app.rapt.io/).

This greatly reduces the need to record your brew day by hand, as everything is done automatically. The RAPT portal also lets you see all the brews you've made in the past, along with the temperatures recorded by the main unit's probe and this digital thermometer. This unit can also be configured to send push notifications to your cell phone, for example to let you know when it's time to rinse.

In addition to this ease of access and control, the RAPT BrewZilla also lets you fully customize your brew day with profiles specifically tailored to your brewing style or recipe. For example, you can set up mash profiles using the central temperature of your mash instead of the cavity under which the probe is located. This greater precision will give you a more reproducible recipe that translates into much better beer!
