Description
Formerly known as Belgian Saaz or Saaz B, Motueka is a premium New Zealand hop. Developed by HortResearch, this triploid was obtained from Saaz and an unnamed New Zealand strain and lends itself well to Lagers, Pilsners and Belgian Ales.
It is an excellent dual purpose hop, giving off an exciting fruity aroma with refreshing notes of tropical fruit and citrus. It can be used at any point in the brewing process and works well in sweet, malty and fruity beers.
