Challenger hops is a variety well-known for its bitterness, which is both mild and powerful. Marketed since 1972, this English hop will be ideal in all types of British ales.

Challenger is a dual-purpose hop. If not used for bitterness, it will present moderate floral, earthy, resinous, herbal, and spicy aromas.
