Nelson Sauvin hops is an aromatic hop variety originating from New Zealand. It was created in 2000 by the Plant & Food Research hop breeding program. It is named after the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety, with which it shares some aromatic characteristics.

Nelson Sauvin hops brings moderate bitterness and fruity, floral, tropical, spicy, and wine-like aromas. It is often used for American-style beers, such as IPAs, pale ales, saisons, and sours. It can also be suitable for Belgian-style beers, such as blondes, triples, and witbiers.
