motueka hops

Motueka hops are aromatic hops that come from New Zealand. They were created in 1996 by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research. It is the result of a cross between Saaz hops and an undisclosed New Zealand variety.

Motueka hops provide a mild bitterness and aromas of fruits, citrus, flowers, and spices. In Dry Hop, it mainly reveals notes of lime and tropical fruits.

They are frequently used for Pilsner, Pale Ale, Lager, White Ale, and IPA beers. They can also be adapted to Saison, Blonde, and Triple beers.
