Hersbrucker Spät Hop:

The Hersbrucker is a historic hop variety. It originates from the Hersbrucker Alb mountains in Franconia. Today, a significant area is devoted to its cultivation in the Spalt and Hallertau regions.

This hop delivers excellent results in bottom-fermented beers, whether they are lightly hopped or more intensely flavored.

Under good cultivation conditions, Hersbrucker can impart more floral and fruity notes to beer compared to other noble varieties, such as Hallertauer Mittelfrüh.

Its high Beta acid percentage also ensures better longevity of bitterness and hop aromas in beer.
