Styrian Golding Celeia Hops:

styrian golding hops

The Styrian Golding Celeia is an aromatic variety originating from Slovenia. Despite its name, it does not descend from the "goldings" type hops, it is actually a clone of the English "Fuggles". It has many common aromatic characteristics that are reputed to be finer. This finesse is partly due to the climate and the land of Slovenia, which differ from the British terroir.

The Styrian Golding Celeia brings a fine bitterness and herbaceous, spicy, earthy and slightly lemony aromas. Used at the end of boiling, in whirlpool or in dry hop it will also bring notes of white pepper.

It is often used for European-style beers, such as lagers, English ales, saisons or barley wines. It can also suit American-style beers, such as pale ales. In short, it is a versatile aromatic hop, which will adapt to styles where a fine and subtle hoppy character is sought.
