houblon cascade en cône

Cone cascade hops were developed by Oregon State University (USA) in 1956 from the English and Russian varieties Fuggle and Serebrianker. This variety can be used for bittering, but expresses itself best as an aromatic hop. This is how Cascade reveals its typically American side, with citrus (grapefruit and lemon), floral, spicy and resinous aromas.

Used aromatically, cascade hops are ideal for hot-side brewing during the last few minutes of boiling, in whirlpools. It is also ideal for use in dry hops.
