Dark malt extract powder
100% usable, this dark powdered malt extract is produced by a impaling process using base malts as well as darker malts. It imparts a deep malt flavor to beer, making it ideal for amber to brown beer styles.
Although it can be used on its own, it is recommended to add a small percentage of special malts (Crystal, Smoked, Roasted, etc.) to bring more richness and complexity to your creations.
Its use saves time: the starch has already been converted into sugar, so all you have to do is mix it with water, bring to the boil and add the hops!
Equivalence : 1 kg malt extract powder = 1.6 kg malt
