The 5L mini kegs with tap are very handy pressure kegs.

They work with the use of vent plugs that allow beer to be served through the tap.

With this system, the beer is served through the air inlet. The keg must therefore be consumed quickly. This is an ideal system for evening consumption.

You can also use these mini-kegs with the pressurising device. This allows you to serve the beer by pushing it with CO2. This means that the keg can be stored for at least two to three weeks after opening without any loss of quality in the beer (keep the keg cool).

To use the pressurisation system, you need to fit the keg with the 5L keg caps and provide suitable CO2 cartridges.

Add a maximum of 3 grams of sugar/L for refermentation.
