Caramunich®I malt

Caramunich® 1 malt is one of the most popular in the crystal category. Its degree of caramelization gives it a deep amber color. On the palate, it gives the beer intense aromas of caramel, bread and cookie, with perceptible notes of cocoa, honey and dried fruit.

This versatile malt is ideal as a caramel twist to an old-school pale ale. It can also be used as a mainstay in malted lagers, for example.

It can be used up to a maximum of 12%, giving the finished beer a mellow texture.
