Description
Caramunich II malt
Caramunich II malt has an aroma profile similar to Caramunich I, but more intense. The same applies to color.
Intense toffee flavors will begin to draw towards brown caramel, while notes of cookie, honey, cocoa, dried fruit and bread crust will also be clearly perceptible.
Caramunich type 2 malt will also bring a deep amber color, bordering on brown, to the beer.
Used at a maximum of 10% in a recipe, it brings a rich mouthfeel and is perfect for strong beer recipes where the malty character needs to come to the fore. It will shine, for example, in Dubbel, dopplebock, brown ales or dark lagers.
