Dry yeast specially designed for the fermentation of complex, long-keeping red wines. Preserves the characteristics of the grape varieties used and generates subtle aromas of red fruit and cherry, enhanced by spicy notes. Excellent chromatic stability.

Vinoferm Rhône is suitable for high fermentation temperatures and offers high alcohol tolerance. This yeast has excellent SO2 resistance and produces very little foam. Fermentation with Vinoferm Rhône is rapid and produces a large quantity of polysaccharides.

Grape varieties:
Ideally suited to grape varieties such as Shiraz, Lemberger, Zweigelt, Grenache, Sangiovese.

Dosage:
15-25 g/hl

Use:
Stir 1 part yeast into 7 parts water and 3 parts must at 35-40°C. Allow to rehydrate for at least 15 minutes. Then add to the wort. Make sure that the temperature difference between the bottom of the tank and the temperature of the wort in your fermentation tank is no greater than 10°C.

Shelf life :
Vacuum-packed. Store in a cool, dry place (<15°C, ideally 4-8°C). Use within 2 to 3 days of opening.
