Description

New for 2022 that replaces the extra pale and ale versions of clear Choice, Crisp's Clear Choice Pale Malt is a unique malt from a specially selected barley variety without prothocyanidins. These flavonoid polyphenols are responsible for astringency and cold disorder with proteins.
After clarification or filtration, the wort is extremely clear, stable and has a beautiful sweetness reminiscent of honey.

We also recommend using Clear Choice malt in cloudy beers where darkening due to oxidation of polyphenols could cause harm.
The benefits of Clear Choice will be evident in bottles, cans, kegs and even casks.

Recommended use: between 80 and 100% of the malt used.
