Bru-1 Hops 5kg Yakima Chief Hops:

BRU-1 hops are an American variety known for intense notes of freshly cut pineapple and white fruits. They are highly appreciated for brewing beers such as wheat beers, IPA, Pale Ale, and NEIPA.

Strong and bold, BRU-1 hops stand out for their fruity character and clean bitterness (13 - 15% AA). Although they can be used for bittering, they are mostly recommended for late boil additions or dry hopping.

These hops are an ideal choice for homebrewers aiming to enhance their beers with intense pineapple aromas. Additionally, BRU-1 has been shown to improve haze stability in certain beer styles.

This hop variety is distinguished by its exceptional beta acid content, which helps maintain overall bitterness and ensures a harmonious balance of flavors in the medium to long term. In West Coast IPAs, where strong bitterness is desired, BRU-1 serves as a structural ally (in addition to its remarkable aromas). It pairs beautifully with Loral, Chinook, and Citra varieties.
